Position: VMC Operator Location: Gandhinagar,IDPL, Hyderabad Industry: Manufacturing / Machining / Precision Components Employment Type: Full-time Key ResponsibilitiesOperate Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) machines as per production plan Load/unload components and ensure correct tool offsets, fixtures, and clamping Read and understand engineering drawings, job cards, and process sheets Perform basic machine setting, tool change, and offset correction Monitor machining parameters to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy Conduct in-process inspection using measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, gauges) Maintain daily production records and machine logbooks Follow safety norms, housekeeping (5S), and plant discipline Report machine issues, tool wear, or quality deviations to supervisor Support continuous improvement in productivity and cycle time reduction Desired Qualification & ExperienceITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Machinist, CNC, or relevant trade 1–5 years experience as VMC Operator (experience level can be adjusted) Basic knowledge of CNC programming concepts (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi – if applicable) Exposure to production machining environment Ability to work in shifts if required Preferred SkillsKnowledge of cutting tools and machining processes Quality awareness and attention to detail Willingness to learn and adapt to production requirements
