Visual Designer

The ideal candidate should have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate high-level requirements into beautiful, intuitive, and functional designs. Responsibilities will include gathering requirements from clients or internal teams, and making deliberate design decisions and delivering various visual artefacts such as design concepts, Graphic Design, Visual Design, Visual Identity Design, Branding, Presentations, Social Media contents, layouts, screens, animation guidelines etc.

Responsibilities:

• Study design briefs and determine requirements, and then schedule deliverables and define constraints
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements. Prepare rough drafts and present ideas using references, wireframes, prototypes or style guides as appropriate
• Work with copywriters, Designers, developers and other creative team members to produce interesting yet practical designs that meet the brief
• Amend designs after feedback and ensure that final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and in line with functional requirements.
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
• Continually keep yourself and your design team updated with the latest changes in the industry’s standards.

Qualifications:

• Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite especially Photoshop, Illustrator and XD. Experience with After effects or any other motion graphics / animation software is a plus.
• Good communication skills and the ability to understand briefs in detail.
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines, with a problem solving mindset.
• Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
• Must be intellectually curious and up to date with modern design trends and ideas.

Education:

Graduate, with qualification or training in an arts or design field.
