Virtual Walk-In For NPD Engineer

Interview Timings: 1.30 to 3 PM & 5 to 7PM

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for customers and sales office regarding project matters.
• Conduct project kick-off meetings with functional heads and form the APQP team.
• Obtain preliminary BOM, concept PFD, and concept design from stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate and timely quotations to customers, manage business awards, and obtain sample POs.
• Review customer-specific requirements (CSR) with the cross-functional team.
• Review Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and raise Engineering Change Requests (ECR) when necessary, ensuring proper implementation.
• Maintain and update the project time plan throughout the lifecycle.
• Coordinate internal and external part sampling up to PPAP stage.
• Follow up with customers for sample approvals.
• Organize and conduct process audits, ensuring line readiness.
• Prepare and submit PPAP documentation and oversee production line run readiness.
• Successfully hand over projects to production teams.
• Lead daily project review meetings to monitor progress and resolve issues.

Skills & Competencies

• APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and 7 QC Tools.
• Project planning and scope management.
• Strong knowledge of product design, manufacturing processes, and quality system requirements.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and IATF standards.
• Hazard identification, risk assessment, and aspect-impact assessment.
• Health & Safety and EMS auditing experience.
• Customer-specific requirements management.
• Risk analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making.
• Awareness of market trends and business requirements.
• Proficiency in basic computer operations and documentation.
