Vigilance Officer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for the day-to-day patrolling of public and employee areas to minimize losses, maintain security policies, and observe Health and Safety regulations. Your role will involve patrolling public areas, conducting on-the-spot baggage checks, ensuring health and safety regulations are met, checking the security of storerooms and offices, documenting incidents, providing advice on loss prevention, investigating fraud, and participating in the emergency response team. Key Responsibilities: - Regularly patrol public areas, guest floors, back of house areas, and hotel perimeter to prevent intrusion - Challenge and check credentials of unauthorized individuals discreetly - Control staff entrance and conduct baggage checks of staff and contractors - Ensure health and safety regulations and fire regulations are met during patrols - Check security of storerooms and offices, document incidents, and file necessary reports - Investigate incidents, liaise with Health and Safety Officer, and provide advice on loss prevention - Understand and enforce the hotel's credit policy, investigate fraud, and secure lost property - Be familiar with evacuation procedures, participate as a floor fire officer, and monitor hotel master keys - Open/repair room safes, receive deliveries outside normal hours, and administer emergency first aid - Conduct locker checks, inform senior management of incidents, and act as a contact person for emergency services - Perform additional tasks as requested by superiors Qualifications Required: - Good interpersonal and communication skills - Excellent guest relations and management skills Additional Details: Four Seasons is driven by its people who strive to create exceptional guest experiences through luxury and genuine care.
