Job Description

The

Videographer

will be responsible for capturing high-quality video content and ensuring all media assets are properly organised and maintained. This role requires strong technical expertise in camera operations, framing, lensing, and lighting, as well as disciplined media management practices. The Videographer will work closely with Creative Directors/Producers/Creative Production Managers, supporting the broader production workflow by focusing on the technical and visual execution.

Key

Responsibilities

  • Understand project objectives and translate them into compelling visual narratives.
  • Operate professional cameras, lenses, and gimbals to capture high-quality footage.
  • Set up, adjust, and manage lighting equipment for indoor and outdoor shoots.
  • Ensure correct framing, composition, exposure, and sound recording during filming.
  • Conduct location recce and prepare for shoots in advance.
  • Work alongside Creative Production Managers, Director & Producers and support the creative team by maintaining consistency in technical standards across projects.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of camera equipment, framing, lensing, and cinematography principles.
  • Proficiency in setting up and handling professional lighting equipment (indoor & outdoor).
  • Basic knowledge of audio recording tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with post-production workflows, codecs, and file formats (for handoff and coordination with editors).
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of advanced cinematography techniques (depth of field, slow motion, timelapse, tracking shots, etc.).
  • Familiarity with lenses, filters, rigs (tripods, sliders, gimbals, steadicams), and multi-camera setups.
  • Understanding of natural vs. artificial lighting, three-point lighting, and creative practical light setups.
  • Awareness of emerging camera technologies, formats, and industry trends.
  • Drone videography/photography experience (preferred but not mandatory).

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Film, Media, Communication, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in videography.
