Job Title: Videographer cum Video Editor
Location: Meeramax Academy, Calicut
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience & skill)
About the Role:
Meeramax Academy, Kerala’s best professional beauty academy, is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Videographer cum Video Editor to join our in-house media team. If you're passionate about visual storytelling, skilled in shooting and editing videos, and have a basic understanding of digital marketing, this could be the right opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
Shoot promotional, training, and event videos for reels, YouTube, and other platforms
Edit videos with smooth transitions, effects, and engaging visual flow
Collaborate with the content and marketing team to maintain a consistent brand style
Support in planning and executing video content strategies for online campaigns
Manage video files, project folders, and backups
Assist in creating short social media video teasers and highlight clips
Skills Required:
Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro (or similar)
Strong videography skills, including camera handling, lighting, and framing
Basic colour grading and audio editing knowledge
Understanding of social media video formats (especially Instagram & YouTube)
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Eligibility:
6 months to 2 years of experience preferred (freshers with a strong portfolio can apply)
Diploma/Degree in Videography, Multimedia, Visual Communication, or related field
Must be based in or willing to relocate to Calicut
