Dainik Bhaskar was declared the world's 3rd largest circulated daily newspaper by WAN IFRA in 2019. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Video Script Writer located in Bhopal. The Video Script Writer will be responsible for creating, refining, and finalizing video scripts, screenplays, and other scripting needs. This role involves closely collaborating with the video production team to ensure the content is engaging and aligned with the objectives. Key Responsibilities: Conceptualize and write original, clear, and creative video scripts across various formats (explainer videos, promos, social media, ads, tutorials, testimonials, etc.). Collaborate with marketers and designers to develop video content strategies and storyboards. Edit and refine scripts for structure, tone, clarity, and length, ensuring alignment with brand voice and messaging. Conduct research on topics as needed to ensure accuracy and relevance. Adapt scripts based on feedback from stakeholders or evolving project requirements. Ensure all scripts are optimized for video production and align with visual and audio elements. Keep abreast of content trends, storytelling formats, and best practices for video content. Requirements: Proven experience as a video script writer, editor, or similar role. Excellent command of written English and Hindi with a strong grasp of narrative, structure, and pacing. A portfolio showcasing a range of video scripts and writing/editing work. Ability to tailor writing for different audiences, tones, and platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.). Strong collaborative and communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines. Familiarity with video production processes is a plus. Show more Show less
