Video Editor

Job Description:

• Video Editing: Assemble raw footage into high-quality final videos using professional tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Cap cut etc.
• Creative Enhancement: Add graphics, transitions, motion effects, background scores, and sound design to enhance viewer engagement and storytelling impact.
• Media Management: Organize, label, and maintain a library of media assets and project files for easy access and future use. Ensure backups and version control.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with marketing team - to understand project requirements and deliver visuals aligned with brand goals.
• Deadline Management: Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• Trend Awareness: Stay updated with the latest video trends, editing techniques, and formats such as Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social-first content styles.

Required Essential Skills:

• Creative Skills: Strong eye for detail, visual composition, and storytelling. Ability to translate concepts into compelling video formats.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop), Illustrator, and audio editing tools. Understanding of video formats, codecs, and export settings.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain a well-structured workflow and file management system.
• Communication Skills: Ability to understand briefs, provide creative input, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to changing creative directions and feedback.

Qualification:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film Production, Media Studies, Communication, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in professional video editing across different formats (e.g., promotional videos, social media content, internal communication, brand campaigns).
• Portfolio Requirement: A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating storytelling ability, creative editing, motion graphics, and post-production skills.
