As a video editor, you will be responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that matches the director's vision and is suitable for broadcasting or online sharing. Your work will involve various tasks, including selecting usable footage, editing footage, adding sound effects, music, and graphics, and ensuring the final product meets quality standards. Responsibilities: 1. Footage Selection: Reviewing raw footage and selecting the best shots based on quality, continuity, and relevance to the project's vision. 2. Editing: Editing footage using various editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to create a polished final product. This includes cutting scenes, adding transitions, visual effects, graphics, and sound effects as necessary. 3. Storytelling: Collaborating with directors, producers, and other team members to understand the project's goals and ensure that the edited footage effectively communicates the intended message or story. 4. Sound Editing: Adjusting and enhancing audio elements, including dialogue, music, and sound effects, to ensure clarity and consistency throughout the video. 5. Color Grading: Applying color correction and grading techniques to enhance the visual appeal and consistency of the footage. 6. Quality Control: Reviewing the edited video to ensure that it meets technical specifications, quality standards, and brand guidelines. 7. Versioning: Creating different versions of the video for various platforms, formats, or audiences (e.g., social media, television, web). 8. Collaboration: Working closely with other team members, such as videographers, motion graphic designers, and producers, to ensure a seamless workflow and timely delivery of projects. 9. Feedback Incorporation: Incorporating feedback from clients, stakeholders, or supervisors to refine the editing and achieve the desired outcome. 10. Staying Updated: Keeping abreast of industry trends, new editing techniques, and software updates to continuously improve skills and workflow efficiency. Basic Qualifications: · Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (Plus Two/12th grade). · Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. · Empathy: Ability to understand and empathize with the challenges students face. · Organizational Skills: Effective organization and time management skills. · Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in using computer applications for record-keeping and communication. · Experience: 2+Years experience in video editing Proven experience as a video editor or similar role. Strong understanding of cinematography, storytelling, and visual aesthetics. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication and collaboration skills. A creative mindset and the ability to think critically and problem-solve. A portfolio showcasing previous editing work is often required. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Weekend availability Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus Work Location: On the road
