Job Title: Cameraman & Video EditorLocation: Industry: Retail – Women’s Ethnic Wear (Sarees & Kurtis) Type: Full-time Job Summary:We are seeking a talented and creative Cameraman & Video Editor to join our marketing team at Sri Vaagai Textiles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for shooting high-quality videos and photos of our sarees and kurtis for use in social media, YouTube, reels, and online promotions. They should also be skilled in editing video content that aligns with our brand's aesthetic and marketing goals. Key Responsibilities:Shooting / Camera Work: Shoot product videos and photos inside the showroom and during outdoor fashion shoots. Capture promotional videos, customer testimonials, and behind-the-scenes content. Set up lighting and camera equipment as needed. Plan and shoot engaging video content for Instagram Reels, Facebook, and WhatsApp status. Editing / Post-Production: Edit raw footage into polished videos using industry-standard software (Flimora, Final Cut Pro, ). Add music, text overlays, product details, transitions, and brand elements. Edit short-form content (10–60 sec) for Reels, and long-form content for YouTube or Facebook. Optimize videos for mobile and social media platforms. Coordination & Creative Input: Work closely with the marketing and sales team to plan content calendars. Provide creative ideas for visual storytelling, campaigns, and product highlights. Maintain an organized video archive for reuse and reference. Requirements:Proven experience as a cameraman and video editor. Good understanding of lighting, angles, and fashion product presentation. Proficient in video editing software and basic sound editing. Knowledge of social media trends, especially Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. Ability to work independently and meet content deadlines. Portfolio of previous video and photo work is mandatory. Bonus Skills (Preferred but not mandatory):Experience in product photography (flat lay or model shoots). Knowledge of Canva or Photoshop for thumbnail/poster design. Tamil communication skills for working with staff and customers during shoots.
