About Sage Media:

Video Editor

Role Overview:

Sage Media

Key Responsibilities:

Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos for social media (Reels, Shorts, TikTok), ads, and campaigns.
Add motion graphics, animations, transitions, effects, and sound design where needed.
Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to understand video requirements and concepts.
Create engaging short-form videos that match current trends and platform algorithms.
Maintain brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all video outputs.
Manage multiple projects and deliver edits within deadlines.
Stay updated with the latest editing styles, trends, and tools.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in an agency.
Strong portfolio of edited videos (reels, ads, brand videos, corporate videos).
Proficiency in
Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
.
Basic knowledge of color grading, audio enhancement, and motion graphics.
Creative mindset with strong storytelling ability.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple clients’ content.
Attention to detail and strong sense of timing and pacing.

Nice to Have:

Experience with graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator).
Ability to shoot videos (not mandatory but a plus).
Understanding of social media algorithms and content strategy.
