Job Description – video editor Organisation: Defence Chanakya Academy (DCA), Govindpuram Salary Range: ₹15,000 – ₹22,000 per month Location: Govindpuram, Ghaziabad About Us Defence Chanakya Academy is a premier institute dedicated to preparing students for NDA, RIMC, RMS, and Sainik School entrance examinations. Role Overview We are hiring a Digital Content Creator who will take complete ownership of our online content strategy – from creating engaging academic reels to guiding video editors, making thumbnails, and scheduling posts regularly on Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. Key Responsibilities Content Planning & Ideation Research and generate reel/video ideas around NDA, RIMC, RMS & Sainik School preparation. Plan content calendar – decide which reel/post goes live on which day. Identify trending audio, background music, and formats suitable for educational reels. Content Production Write scripts or talking points for reels/short videos. Guide the video editor on editing style (captions, cuts, transitions, effects). Assist in designing eye-catching thumbnails for YouTube and reels. Execution & Posting Regular posting of reels, shorts, stories, and community posts. Ensure consistency and maintain the academy’s professional tone. Monitor engagement and suggest improvements. Creative Collaboration Work with faculty to turn class topics into engaging reels. Suggest new ideas like quizzes, motivational clips, student testimonials, and behind-the-scenes videos. Requirements Graduate (any stream) with strong interest in social media & education sector. Knowledge of Instagram, YouTube & Facebook content growth strategies. Basic Canva/CapCut/Premiere Pro/Filmora skills preferred. Good communication skills in Hindi & English. Prior experience in social media/content creation will be an added advantage. What We Offer Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹22,000 per month (based on skills & experience).
