Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Edit raw video footage into high-quality, engaging videos for social media, websites, campaigns, ads, and internal communications.
Add motion graphics, transitions, sound effects, and background music where required.
Collaborate with directors, content creators, and marketing teams to understand project requirements and creative vision.
Ensure all videos meet brand standards, technical specifications, and deadlines.
Color correct, balance audio, and optimize video formats for different platforms.
Stay updated with industry trends, editing techniques, and software upgrades.
Manage and organize video assets, project files, and backups efficiently.

Requirements

Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects.
Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual design.
Knowledge of color grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics is a plus.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
A portfolio or reel demonstrating previous video editing work.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field (optional).
Experience with animation, 2D/3D graphics, or photography is a bonus.
Familiarity with social media video formats (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, etc.).
