Business Development / Sales Manager – Contract Manufacturing (Nutraceuticals / Pharmaceuticals / Gummies / Nutrition Bars) Location: Pan India (with travel) Reporting To: Head – Business Development About Us Fermentis Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd. is a leading contract manufacturing partner for the Nutraceutical, Pharmaceutical, and Health & Wellness industries. We specialize in the end-to-end manufacturing of capsules, tablets, powders, liquids, softgels, gummies, and nutrition bars, catering to private label and custom formulation requirements. Position Overview The Business Development / Sales Manager will be responsible for driving growth, focusing on every product segment. This role requires strong techno-commercial skills, key account management expertise, and an understanding of regulatory and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Identify and acquire new B2B clients for contract manufacturing in nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, gummy, and bar segments. Manage and develop key customer accounts to ensure long-term business relationships and repeat orders. Provide techno-commercial support—understanding formulations, production capabilities, and cost structures. Coordinate with internal teams, including R&D, QA, regulatory, production, and logistics, to support project execution. Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets while maintaining profitability. Track and report on market trends, competitor activity, and emerging business opportunities. Ensure compliance with relevant quality and regulatory standards (FSSAI, GMP, HACCP, ISO). Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry conferences. Qualifications & Experience Education: B.Tech (Food Technology) / B.Sc / M.Sc (Food Science) / B.Pharm / M.Pharm / MBA. Experience: 3–10 years in B2B sales or business development for contract manufacturing, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, or gummies/bars. Strong techno-commercial acumen with an understanding of formulations and manufacturing processes. Knowledge of FSSAI, GMP, HACCP, and other relevant regulations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools. Willingness to travel across India as required.
