About The Role
We're seeking a highly motivated video editor. This opportunity will start out as a two month internship with an option to convert to a full time job (if you want that). You will be evaluated on the quality of each of the video you produce, your creativity and your tenacity.
Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into high-quality videos with sound, transitions, motion graphics, and color correction.
- Optimize videos for social media platforms and websites.
- Collaborate on scriptwriting and storyboarding
- Ensure all final content is proofed, tested, and platform-ready.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of proven experience in creating short-form content and editing videos specifically for social media ad campaigns (Facebook, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
- Ability to independently conceptualize, shoot, and edit engaging video content tailored for digital platforms.
- Hands-on experience with industry tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Familiarity with tools like After Effects or Canva Pro to create simple animations, text overlays, or transitions.
- Understanding of what performs well on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X —including trends, hashtags, formats, and storytelling techniques.
- Basic ability to clean and mix audio, sync background music with visuals, and integrate voiceovers effectively
- A Degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Multimedia Arts, Mass Communication, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for skilled candidates with hands-on experience.
