Job Description

Insight International is one of Kerala’s leading study abroad consultancies, helping students make informed choices for a successful global education journey. We are now expanding our creative team and are looking for a passionate Video Editor who thrives on creating attention-grabbing, scroll-stopping content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, TikToks) that are engaging, fast-paced, and optimized for social media.
• Repurpose longer content into bite-sized highlights for digital platforms.
• Add captions, transitions, effects, music, and motion graphics to videos in line with brand tone.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to understand content goals and translate scripts or ideas into engaging visuals.
• Occasionally support in creating static graphics for Instagram posts, thumbnails, or stories.
• Maintain a consistent visual style across all media content.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, etc.)
• Basic skills in graphic design (Photoshop, Canva, Illustrator, or similar).
• A strong sense of social media trends and audience behavior, especially on Instagram and YouTube.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and a knack for storytelling through visuals.

Bonus if you have:

• Experience working with educational or youth-centric brands.
• Motion graphics or animation skills.
• An existing portfolio of reels, shorts, or graphic content.
