We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who specializes in editing short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms. The ideal candidate understands how to capture attention within the first few seconds and has strong knowledge of video hooks, pacing, and audience retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit engaging short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, Clips) optimized for social media platforms
• Create powerful hooks within the first 1–3 seconds to maximize viewer retention
• Add subtitles, transitions, sound effects, emojis, and visual elements where required
• Ensure videos follow platform-specific formats, ratios, and trends
• Maintain consistent brand style and storytelling across all videos
• Collaborate with the content/marketing team to improve engagement and performance
• Optimize videos for watch time, retention, and virality

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience editing short-form videos for social media
• Strong understanding of video hooks, storytelling, and audience psychology
• Experience with subtitles/captions and fast-paced editing styles
• Knowledge of trending formats, music, and editing techniques
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with influencers, brands, or digital content creators
• Understanding of analytics and what makes short-form content perform well
• Motion graphics or basic animation skills
