Job Description

We are looking for a talented Video Editor to create an engaging gameplay showcase video for our upcoming game. This video will be used for events, showcases, and our Steam page, so it must effectively capture the atmosphere, excitement, and unique features of the game.

The ideal candidate should be able to understand our creative direction and enhance the raw gameplay footage with strong editing, pacing, and presentation to make it stand out.

Responsibilities:

Edit and produce a polished, professional-quality gameplay showcase video.
Enhance footage with effective pacing, transitions, music, and subtle effects where needed.
Highlight the game’s atmosphere, features, and unique identity.
Work closely with our team to take feedback and iterate quickly.

Requirements:

Proven experience editing gameplay videos, trailers, or showcase content.
Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual flow in video editing.
Proficiency with industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects (DaVinci Resolve will not be considered).
Creative eye for showcasing gameplay footage in a way that appeals to players.
Good communication skills and ability to understand creative direction.

Nice to Have:

Experience editing trailers for indie games or Steam pages.
Understanding of game marketing and what makes a video compelling.
Strong sound design or motion graphics skills.
