Video Editor – Cricket Podcasts & Shows

About the Role

We’re hiring a talented Video Editor who is also a true cricket enthusiast — this requirement is absolutely non-negotiable. You will be working from our Bangalore office, editing long-form cricket podcasts, debate shows, interviews, and other cricket-focused content.

You’ll also be responsible for carving out high-performing short-form clips from long-form recordings, helping us create engaging social media content that resonates with cricket fans.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit long-form content such as podcasts, cricket talk shows, and interviews.
• Identify the most engaging moments and convert them into short-form content (Reels, Shorts).
• Maintain a consistent visual style and editing flow across all content formats.
• Add subtitles, graphics, match visuals, score overlays, and contextual elements when needed.
• Collaborate with the content, production, and creative teams in the office.
• Keep track of cricket trends, match narratives, viral moments, and storylines.
• Bring creative ideas to elevate storytelling and viewer retention.
• Deliver high-quality edits within planned timelines.

Requirements

• Must be based in Bangalore and willing to work from the office.
• Must have strong passion and deep knowledge of cricket — formats, teams, players, stats, rivalries, match context.
• Proven experience in video editing for podcasts, long-form shows, or digital content.
• Proficiency in editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Ability to edit for both long-form and short-form with strong pacing and structure.
• Understanding of audio cleanup, transitions, subtitles, and visual clarity.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their video formatting norms.
• Strong attention to detail and a sense of storytelling.

Bonus Skills

• Previous experience editing sports or cricket content.
• Basic motion graphics knowledge (After Effects or similar).
• Understanding of YouTube editing formats, pacing, and retention strategies.
