Video Editor

We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor with experience in editing social media content across platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of social media trends, short-form storytelling, and audience engagement strategies. You will work closely with our creative team to produce high-quality, visually appealing videos that align with our brand tone and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit and produce engaging short-form and long-form video content for various social media platforms (Reels, Shorts, Stories, etc.).

Add text animations, transitions, captions, effects, and music to make videos engaging and platform-friendly.

Collaborate with the content creation, marketing, and design teams to conceptualize and execute video ideas.

Optimize videos for each platform’s format, algorithm, and audience.

Maintain consistency in brand style, tone, and color palette across all content.

Stay updated on current social media trends, viral content styles, and new editing tools.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery.

Organize, archive, and manage video assets for easy future access.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

Editing & Software Knowledge:

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, CapCut, or VN Editor.

Strong knowledge of motion graphics, sound design, and color correction.

Ability to add subtitles, transitions, overlays, and trending effects relevant to social platforms.

Social Media Knowledge:

Deep understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Facebook videos.

Awareness of trending formats, hashtags, sounds, and viral editing styles.

Knowledge of platform-specific aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) and video length limits.

Experience in optimizing content for engagement — hooks, pacing, and retention strategies.

Creative & Technical Knowledge:

Strong sense of storytelling and visual aesthetics.

Understanding of brand guidelines, typography, and visual rhythm.

Familiarity with camera handling, lighting, and framing is a plus.

Basic understanding of graphic design and thumbnail creation (Photoshop/Canva).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
