Video Editing Trainer for online classes

We are looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team and manage the editing of training videos (online & offline). The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in video editing software, a good sense of storytelling, and the ability to create engaging, professional, and easy-to-follow training content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw video footage into structured and polished training modules.
• Add transitions, text overlays, captions/subtitles, background music, and voiceovers where required.
• Ensure consistent branding, style, and formatting across all training videos.
• Collaborate with trainers, content creators, and instructional designers to understand learning objectives.
• Optimize videos for multiple platforms (LMS, YouTube, websites, social media).
• Manage and organize video assets and backups systematically.
• Stay updated with the latest editing tools, trends, and techniques to improve content quality.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Video Editor (training/educational content experience is a plus).
• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
• Knowledge of sound design, color correction, and motion graphics.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong creative and visual storytelling skills.
• Attention to detail, patience, and a learner-centric mindset.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in creating e-learning modules or training tutorials.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Understanding of online engagement strategies for training content.
