Lawctopus is a 15-year-old online media and ed-tech company focused on the legal industry. Every month, 4 lakh law students and young lawyers read Lawctopus.com for their career growth. Every year, nearly 2500 learners take our practical courses.

We have been featured in India Today, Economic Times, TEDx, and won the BW Legal 40 under 40 and 30 under 30 awards. Lawctopus was also shortlisted for the prestigious Agami Prize and has recently been selected for the 10-month long Stanford Seed Program which supports growth of organisations from South Asia doing revenues of USD 300,000-15 million.

We are a 25 people strong, 100% remote organisation which values care, learning, action, and accountability. Our work is organised, disciplined, and performance-oriented. We are currently scaling, and our revenues have increased 2x versus the last financial year.

About the Role

Lawctopus and Lawctopus Law School are seeking a dynamic and camera-confident Video Content Creator who is also a law graduate with practical legal experience.

We are looking for someone who has good legal knowledge, communicates clearly and effectively, and feels comfortable creating engaging on-camera content. If you enjoy explaining legal concepts, connecting with audiences, and presenting with confidence, this role will be a great fit.

In this position, you will serve as the on-camera face of our brand across various formats, including advertisements, webinars, online courses, and video sales letters (VSLs).

Roles and Responsibilities

Video Creation

• Record short and long form videos for advertisements, VSLs, course explainers, promotions, and more
• Deliver educational, career, and legal content in an engaging way
• Create videos for Instagram, YouTube, and our learning platform

Hosting & Live Sessions

• Host webinars, masterclasses, and orientation sessions
• Moderate or co-host live classes and events

Content Involvement

• We don’t expect expertise, but even some ability here is a plus
• Assist with basic content writing, script reading, or script editing

Optional

Bonus Skills (Not Mandatory but a Big Plus)

• Video editing (basic or intermediate)
• Scriptwriting or content writing
• Social media management
• Canva / graphics/thumbnail creation
• Experience teaching or mentoring

Eligibility

• Any graduate with minimum 1-3 years of work experience
• Excellent public speaker – ideally a strong mooter, debater, or theatre person
• Presentable and confident on camera
• Running an active Instagram or YouTube channel
• Strong communication skills in English + Hindi
• Have a good-quality phone camera
• Have a quiet room/space to set up a small home studio
• Consistent, reliable, and excited to create content at scale

Salary

₹40,000 – ₹60,000 per month, depending on experience, performance, and portfolio.
