Video Content Editor

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging short-form Instagram Reels and long-form YouTube videos. The ideal candidate will be passionate about storytelling, have a sharp eye for aesthetics, and be skilled in colour grading, motion graphics, and advanced editing techniques to create content that connects with audiences. --- Key Responsibilities: Edit short-form vertical videos for Instagram Reels, Shorts & Stories. Edit long-form horizontal videos for YouTube (educational, storytelling, event highlights, interviews). Perform colour correction and grading for a cinematic, professional look. Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, and sound effects using After Effects, Premiere Pro or similar tools. Collaborate with the content & marketing team to maintain brand tone, style, and storytelling consistency. Optimize videos for social media engagement (hooks, pacing, subtitles, CTA integration). Manage and organize raw footage, music, and project files for efficient workflow. Stay updated with social media trends, trending sounds, and editing styles. --- Required Skills & Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut Pro, DaVinci Resolve (for colour grading) or similar software. Strong knowledge of video editing principles, audio syncing, transitions, key-framing, and typography. Experience in vertical editing for Instagram/TikTok and horizontal editing for YouTube. Ability to create eye-catching thumbnails and basic animations. Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics. Knowledge of lighting and colour theory for consistent quality. Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving mindset. --- Qualifications: 1–3 years of proven experience in video editing (portfolio required). Background in Media, Film, Animation, or related field is preferred (not mandatory). Strong communication skills in English & Hindi. Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to feedback quickly.
