Job Summary: The Restaurant Captain is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of wait staff, ensuring a high standard of service, guest satisfaction, and smooth restaurant operations. Key Responsibilities: Greet guests warmly and ensure a high standard of service throughout their dining experience. Supervise and support waiters/waitresses in your designated section. Take food and beverage orders, make recommendations, and answer guest questions regarding the menu. Ensure timely service and monitor food and beverage delivery. Check tables before service for cleanliness, proper setup, and supplies. Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure accurate and timely order delivery. Handle guest complaints and concerns promptly and professionally. Maintain detailed knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions. Train and mentor new service staff. Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and service standards. Assist in setting up the dining area and special event arrangements when necessary.
