Victualing Officer

You will be responsible for providing necessary support to vessels under management to achieve consistent levels of victualing service within the given budgetary guidelines and client agreements. This includes reviewing victualing performance, monitoring on-board consumption, computing vessel reporting, and providing budget-related information and reporting to management and clients. You will also review and process supplier invoices, assist other departments promptly when required, and communicate with vessels, suppliers, and finance departments regarding victualing administration, budgets, and invoicing. Key Responsibilities: - Communicate with vessels about victualing administration standards, policies, and procedures. - Monitor vessels" victualing budgets and discuss performance with respective operation officers. - Compute monthly victualing reports for a number of vessels as needed. - Review supplier invoices and address any invoicing issues with suppliers/Finance department. - Process client invoices and resolve invoicing issues with clients/Finance department. - Communicate inter-office issues as necessary. - Assist in preparing catering reports for management and clients. - Assist in controlling activities during incidents as per company guidelines. - Perform any other duties as required by management. Qualifications Required: - University degree in Shipping, Accounting, or Business Administration. - Strong understanding of finance, good analytical skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Accounting systems. - Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. - High personal integrity standards. - Positive outlook, self-motivated for development and success. - Very good command of English language, both written and oral. - Ability to handle a multitask workload.
