Vice Principal

The Vice Principal (Main Subjects - Science or Maths) will play a crucial role in overseeing the academic programs in Science and Maths at the institution. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing curriculum strategies to enhance teaching and learning, monitoring and assessing student performance across main subjects, and supporting teachers in best instructional practices and professional development. You will collaborate with administration to maintain high educational standards, work with parents and the community to promote school programs, and manage daily operations and guidance of academic staff. As the Vice Principal, you will ensure compliance with educational policies and regulations, facilitate communication between staff, students, and parents, and lead school initiatives aimed at improving student engagement and learning. Your role will involve conducting regular evaluations and observations to enhance teacher performance, addressing student disciplinary issues, and promoting a positive school climate. Additionally, you will participate in school events and represent the institution in educational affairs, gather and analyze data to inform instructional strategies, and foster an inclusive environment that supports diverse learning needs. To qualify for this position, you must hold a Master's degree in Education or a relevant field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in educational leadership. A strong background in Science or Maths education is essential, along with proven ability to develop and implement curriculum. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities, and experience in mentoring teachers and improving instructional practices are required. You should have a good understanding of educational policies and regulations, ability to engage students, and foster a positive learning environment. Strong strategic planning and management skills, proficiency in using technology for educational purposes, and commitment to continuous professional development are also key qualifications. Experience working with diverse student populations, strong interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate, work under pressure, and meet deadlines are important attributes for this role. Fluency in English is necessary, and knowledge of regional languages is a plus.
