Job Summary:

Vice President US Healthcare RCM

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth and efficiency in RCM operations.
  • Lead transformation initiatives including automation, analytics, and process re-engineering.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership across delivery, sales, technology, and client management functions.

Operations Management:

  • Oversee end-to-end RCM operations including patient access, charge capture, coding, billing, AR follow-up, payment posting, and denial management.
  • Ensure performance metrics (KPIs, SLAs) are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Optimize workflows using technology, tools, and best practices to reduce cost-to-collect and improve collection rates.

Client Engagement:

  • Serve as executive sponsor for key client relationships; ensure client satisfaction, account growth, and retention.
  • Lead QBRs and strategic discussions with US-based clients and stakeholders.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage and mentor a large team (2000+ FTEs) including AVPs, Directors, Managers, and SMEs.
  • Drive talent development, succession planning, and performance management.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.

Compliance & Quality:

  • Ensure operations are compliant with HIPAA, CMS, and other applicable regulatory standards.
  • Support and help Implementing robust quality assurance programs and drive Six Sigma/Lean initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • 23+ years of experience in US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale offshore RCM operations in a BPO or healthcare services environment.
  • In-depth understanding of US healthcare payer-provider ecosystem, including Medicare/Medicaid, commercial payers, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills, with a strong executive presence.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree (MBA, MHA) preferred.

Preferred Skills & Competencies:

  • Experience with Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or similar EMR/EHR systems.
  • Familiarity with RPA, AI/ML applications in RCM.
  • Certifications such as HFMA, AAPC, or AHIMA preferred.
  • Track record of driving EBITDA improvement and operational excellence.
