Purpose of the Role:

To design, develop, and improve software using various engineering methodologies that provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for customers and colleagues.

Accountabilities:

• Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools, ensuring code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration with business objectives.
• Participate in code reviews, promote a culture of code quality, and foster knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and contribute to technology communities to promote technical excellence and growth.
• Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
• Implement effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

Vice President Expectations:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead ServiceNow development activities, including working with ServiceNow modules and third-party integrations, REST APIs, and Integration Hubs.
• Customize and enhance existing ITSM/ITOM tools and processes.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, testing teams, and process teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Identify areas for process and tooling improvements, ensuring protection in process, security, and performance aspects.
• Design end-to-end solutions, improve configurations, and drive rollouts of new applications and modules.
• Follow continuous improvement best practices, identifying opportunities and delivering solutions using Agile development processes.
• Incorporate risk management practices and authentication mechanisms into the development cycle.

Mandatory Requirements:

• 10 years of ServiceNow developer experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSM, CSA, ITSM, CTA).
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical designs.
• Awareness of the latest ServiceNow capabilities, trends, and best practices.
• Mentorship experience, guiding junior developers and team members.
