Vice President - Sourcing

As a Vice President - Sourcing at Barclays, you will spearhead the evolution of the digital landscape by driving innovation and excellence. Your role will involve harnessing cutting-edge technology to revolutionize digital offerings and ensure unparalleled customer experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Proficient in exec briefing, strategic sourcing, tactical sourcing, influencing, stakeholder management, analytical ability, thought leadership, team management, leadership, business acumen, and change management/process improvement. - Contribute to or set strategy, drive requirements, and make recommendations for change. - Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/processes; deliver continuous improvements and escalate breaches of policies/procedures. - Manage Senior stakeholders within business and procurement with an intersection with the COPS category. - Help sourcing managers profile spend in the category area and develop an understanding of business strategy, business requirements, cost levers, and opportunities. - Drive competitive sourcing events including RFP/ RFXs, negotiations for value, speed, compliance, and risk. - Monitor and guide controls and compliance requirements throughout the category and sourcing cycle. - Develop and implement policies and procedures for sourcing activities aligned with relevant compliance and regulations. - Identify and deliver change opportunities to improve effectiveness, control, and efficiency of sourcing processes. Desirable Skills: - AI, Robotics. - Identification of industry trends related to sourcing and category management. - Build and maintain trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve key business objectives. Your accountabilities include profiling spend, planning and executing sourcing events, monitoring controls and compliance requirements, and identifying change opportunities for sourcing processes. As a Vice President, you are expected to contribute to strategy, drive requirements, manage policies, deliver continuous improvements, and escalate breaches of policies/procedures. You will advise key stakeholders, manage risks, demonstrate leadership in managing risk, strengthen controls, and collaborate with other areas to support business strategies.
