Vice President - Principal Risk & Control Specialist (Investment Banking)

Our client, a leading Investment banking company, is looking for a VP Principal Risk & Control Specialist to play a key role in various areas such as Group CIO's IT Business units, Operational Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Audit. As a leader in this role, you will need strong leadership and influence to build relationships with Technology teams and stakeholders worldwide. This role will be perfect for you if you want to be central to how the company manages its Technology and Cyber risks, enjoy problem-solving and defining the best approach to manage risks, are curious and willing to explore different approaches to solve business challenges, and want to work in a global team benefiting from the experience of colleagues worldwide. Key Responsibilities: - Work with our global CCO team to develop Group CIO's approach to risk management. - Engage with GCIO divisions and functions globally to implement the approved risk management framework. - Help balance risk management with business needs. - Advise Technology leaders on critical risks and evaluate risks for new technologies like Cloud and Artificial Intelligence. Skills & Experience Required: - Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in technology, financial services, consulting, or related environment. - Technology experience in software development, technology infrastructure, data management, and cyber security. - Extensive experience working in a matrix management structure. - Effective communication skills with strong adaptability and attention to details. - Ability to think laterally and solve problems across various topics. - Demonstrate the ability to adapt to new challenges and subject matter. - Comfortable with negotiating and possess the ability to seek buy-in from key stakeholders. Qualifications: - B.E / B.Tech / MCA / M.Tech. - (Preferred) Risk management certification, e.g., CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, ITIL.,
