Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technology Leader to join our organization in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region . This role will require a strong leader with proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across regions, working closely with both business leaders and technology teams. The ideal candidate will have a broad technology background , with experience in team development, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of cultural dynamics across international settings. This role demands a seasoned leader who has experience working in both the United States and Asia Pacific and understands the cultural nuances that influence how teams work together. The candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive, supportive, and performance-driven culture that aligns with the companys global values and business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Cross-Regional Collaboration : Collaborate with global technology teams, business leaders, and stakeholders across regions (US, EMEA, etc.) to ensure seamless communication and alignment of technology initiatives. Team Leadership and Development : Build, lead, and mentor high-performing technology teams across the APAC region, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous development. Technology Operations : Oversee the day-to-day technology operations across the APAC region, ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of systems that support business growth. Cultural Awareness and Leadership : Lead with a deep understanding of the diverse cultures within the APAC region, adapting leadership styles and communication to effectively engage teams and stakeholders. Stakeholder Engagement : Act as a key point of contact between the regional business units and global technology teams, ensuring business needs are met while adhering to the company's global technology standards and practices. Innovation and Best Practices : Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, leveraging them to drive innovation within the region while ensuring the use of best practices. Change Management : Lead technology transformation initiatives in the region, driving change while ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing business operations. Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all technology initiatives in the APAC region comply with local regulations and industry standards, working closely with legal and compliance teams. Performance-Driven Culture : Cultivate a performance-driven environment that encourages accountability, continuous learning, and a focus on delivering high-quality results. Key Requirements: Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience : 20+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, including experience managing technology teams across multiple regions. Proven experience working in both Asia Pacific and the United States , with a strong understanding of the cultural, regulatory, and operational differences between these regions. Demonstrated success in leading large-scale technology initiatives and building high-performing teams. Skills : Broad Technology Expertise : Deep understanding of technology infrastructure, software development, cloud computing, and emerging technologies. Leadership and Team Development : Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a multicultural environment, driving collaboration and high performance. Communication and Collaboration : Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across regions and functions, both technical and non-technical. Cultural Sensitivity : A nuanced understanding of cultural dynamics within the APAC region and experience leading diverse, multinational teams. Change Management : Experience leading technology-driven change initiatives, with the ability to manage both technical and organizational change. Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of navigating complex challenges and driving successful outcomes. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a global or multinational organization with complex technology ecosystems. Experience in sectors such as financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, or technology. Understanding of regional compliance regulations, particularly in technology and data management. Fluency in one or more languages commonly spoken in the APAC region is a plus. Job description Role Overview: In Staff QA engineer role, the person will own complete quality, validation and delivery of security solutions. About the role: Work directly with senior management, peers and architects to develop practices which lead to the highest quality products and drive transformation change. The individual should have experience in the definition, design, implementation, development of products in the cloud and on prem technologies. Act as a technical mentor for the team regarding security, performance, deployment, troubleshooting, and effective testing of the full interaction the Cloud with our platform. Deliver product releases that meet the timeline, quality and costs for the projects and deliverable elements. Do test planning, Test Case authoring, Test Coverage for various product/releases. Perform functional validation of solutions, features and bug-fixes. Share detailed reports for work accomplished, details of feature implemented, validation done, etc., and present to all stakeholders. About you: The ideal candidate shall have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or related field 10+ years of related software engineering experience with at least 5+ years in testing and automation. Experience in Java, Python for development of backend automation systems. Working knowledge of test management tools and quality process. Good at problem solving and scripting. Knowledge in C++ coding and debugging skills. Good knowledge of operating system fundamentals. Cloud Stack in any one of cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP are preferred. Preferably having experience in the Security domain. Experience with technology infrastructure, storage, and virtualization. Ability to listen, adopt and influence are essentials. Ability to collaborate and work with multiple teams across different time-zones. Strong communication skills.
