Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Vice President - Manufacturing Vertical Sales to lead our business development, brand building, and customer relationship efforts in the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing US-based customers, driving strategic initiatives, and achieving sustainable revenue growth. This role demands a dynamic leader with a proven track record of building strong partnerships, fostering alliances, and leading diverse teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Building:

  • Develop and execute brand strategies to position the company as a leading solution provider in the manufacturing vertical.
  • Establish thought leadership through conferences, whitepapers, webinars, and other industry platforms.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align brand messaging with industry trends and customer needs.

2. Lead Generation:

  • Drive lead generation strategies, leveraging digital marketing, events, and partner networks to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Establish scalable processes for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing high-value opportunities.
  • Use analytics and customer insights to refine lead generation efforts continuously.

3. Business Development:

  • Define and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets within the manufacturing vertical.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations.
  • Identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities and trends in the US manufacturing sector.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions to client requirements, ensuring a high win rate.

4. Partnerships and Alliances:

  • Identify, negotiate, and formalize strategic partnerships and alliances with technology providers, consultants, and industry organizations.
  • Build a network of advisors and influencers to strengthen the company's presence in the US market. (e.g., ISG, Everest, Avasant, KPMG)
  • Foster long-term relationships with key ecosystem players to drive collaborative growth.

5. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to US-based manufacturing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term engagement.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure seamless implementation of solutions and services.
  • Regularly interact with clients to gather feedback, address challenges, and identify upselling opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience: Minimum 15+ years of experience in sales and business development in the manufacturing vertical, with at least 5 years of managing US customers.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of manufacturing industry dynamics, challenges, and opportunities, particularly in the US market.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets, expanding market share, and building strategic alliances.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with experience driving cross-functional initiatives.
  • Networking: Extensive network of clients, partners, and advisors in the manufacturing industry.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze market trends, customer data, and competitive landscapes to make informed decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Education: Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
