Vice President of Engineering

Our client specializes in delivering SaaS solutions and consulting services aimed at enhancing profitability and customer satisfaction. Their fully integrated platform supports critical business functions such as planning, forecasting, pricing, and operations. As the VP of Engineering, you will lead a team of 200 engineers to develop high-quality software products. Reporting to the CTO, you will collaborate with Architects, engineers, and Product leaders to strengthen the engineering capabilities for existing and upcoming products. Your key responsibilities will include providing visionary leadership, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with business goals. You will be responsible for developing technical strategies, adopting the latest technologies, and driving engineering excellence. Collaboration across departments for successful product launches and effective resource planning will be crucial. The ideal candidate will have over 20 years of software engineering experience, including managing large teams and establishing collaborative engineering cultures. A minimum of 8 years of experience in product-focused firms, with expertise in transitioning from on-premises to cloud environments, is required. Advanced skills in software development, cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and familiarity with modern development practices like CI/CD and DevOps are essential. Successful delivery of scalable SaaS products within budget and excellent communication skills are also important.
