Job Description

  • Managing the entire ERW Pipes sales & marketing operations to promote products such as Galvanized Steel Strips and CRCA, Precision Tubes, Black Pipes on an all India basis and accountable for increased sales growth.

  • Responsible for the ERW tubes business for the company Catering to General Engineering ,Scaffolding ,Automobiles, Air Pre-heater, Consumer durables, Exports & Trade sectors. Reporting to CEO

  • Interacting with key accounts/OEM and industrial clients and generate market information to identify marketing needs, consumer behaviour and forecast business patterns.

  • Organizing and conducting various promotional activities as a part of market development and brand building effort.

  • Responsible for controlling the market receivables to manage credit figures.

  • Tracking competitors activities and providing valuable inputs to the top management for fine tuning the selling and marketing strategies.

Supervising, managing and monitoring a team of 20 sales personnel, ensuring optimum performance

  • knowledge on technical details of steel, high carbon wire rods & different types of welding processes viz. TIG, MIG. Submerged Arc etc.

  • Conversant with ISO 9002, TS: 16949:2002, QS 9000 norms and its documentation and MS office, Internet , Oracle & SAP and Certified ISO/TS/16949 Internal Auditor.

Export Operations:-

Overseeing marketing and sales operations for achieving increased growth & top-line profitability. Tracking competitor activities and market trends and keeping abreast with the latest trends and requirements. Developing dealers/distributors for greater product penetration. Managing the import and export operations, keeping compliance with custom laws, notifications, tariffs, EXIM policy.

Key Account Management

  • Initiating and developing relationships with key decision makers in Corporate for business development.

  • Assessing requirements & conducting negotiations for delivering need based products to Key Clients.

  • Ensuring speedy resolution of queries & grievances to maximize client satisfaction levels.
