As a Vice President in the Operations team of the Information Solutions department at Oaktree, your role will involve global legal entity management and overseeing the firms Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) disclosures to counterparties. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the firmwide legal entity management system, including entity formation, drafting legal documents, and structure charts. - Provide operational oversight of the Entities and KYC/AML global teams. - Collaborate with Tax, Compliance, Legal, Fund Accounting, and other stakeholders on Legal Entity and KYC matters. - Understand corporate and fund structures relevant to entity onboarding and KYC disclosures. - Ensure high-quality KYC packages are delivered in adherence to policies and procedures. - Identify and manage risks, escalate issues timely, and drive resolution processes. - Research industry best practices to improve operations. - Collaborate with internal and external teams to enhance processes, data, and technology. - Produce operational deliverables and communications, including executive-level reporting. - Enhance data management operations for efficiency and scalability. - Work on special projects and firm-wide initiatives as directed. Qualifications: - 10+ years of relevant experience in Entity Management operations. - Familiarity with private investment funds and complex legal structures. - Global KYC/AML experience preferred. - Ability to research and validate AML/KYC requirements. - Strong managerial skills. - Track record in engaging stakeholders across different functions. - Ability to analyze and resolve operational challenges. - Proficiency in Microsoft applications. - Experience leveraging data & technology for process efficiencies and risk mitigation. Personal Attributes: - Strong organization skills with attention to detail. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Initiative-driven with a strong work ethic. - Responsible and dedicated. - Analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Works well under pressure and with time constraints. - Team-oriented with integrity and professionalism.
