Job Description

As the Alternative Investments Due Diligence Vice President at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, you will have the opportunity to oversee a team of investment analysts and conduct investment due diligence on alternative investment funds and managers. Your responsibilities will include managing the team, performing ongoing due diligence, participating in manager meetings, preparing research reports, and analyzing investment strategies. You will collaborate with the team to evaluate private equity, private credit, private real assets, and hedge funds, while also conducting liquid risk analysis and preparing peer analyses. It will be crucial to interact with various internal teams, adhere to policies and procedures, and stay up-to-date on market trends and regulatory matters. To succeed in this role, you should have at least 9 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a preference for experience in alternative investments. Strong managerial skills, knowledge of alternative investment strategies, excellent communication abilities, and analytical proficiency are key requirements. Additionally, being detail-oriented, able to multitask, and working well under pressure will be essential.
