Vice President Engineering Technology

As a Vice President of Engineering at Dil Foods, you will play a crucial role in leading the technological advancements and supporting the growth of the company. Your responsibilities will include: - Overseeing the engineering department and aligning its operations with the strategic goals of the company. - Managing, motivating, and directing the development team and data team to ensure the implementation of high-quality technology solutions. - Developing strategic plans for the company's technology presence, including software development, system architecture, and technology stack integration. - Managing and expanding the engineering team through recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions. - Overseeing the development and delivery of technology projects on time, within scope, and with high quality. - Fostering innovation, prioritizing technology initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future technologies. - Working closely with Marketing, Business Development, and Operations to define and deliver new products and enhancements. - Ensuring that all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards and internal requirements. - Communicating technology strategy to restaurant partners, internal team, vendors, and investors. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience in a similar leadership role in a technology-driven environment, with a track record of hands-on development and coding. - Strong leadership skills and ability to manage and motivate high-performing teams. - Proficiency in full-stack development, with strong coding skills and the ability to contribute to coding tasks and review code as needed. - Extensive experience with cloud platforms, modern programming languages (such as Python, PHP, Java, React, Vue), and architectural patterns (such as MVC, Microservices). - Experience in managing a portfolio of projects with a strong ability to prioritize. - Deep understanding of budgeting and resource allocation. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and influence senior management and stakeholders. - Demonstrable ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
