Job Description

V&V Designer

Key Responsibilities

Perform
module testing and integration testing
for embedded and safety-critical software.
Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests using
VectorCAST or RTRT
.
Review software requirements, design documents, and prepare comprehensive test plans and cases.
Validate system/software behavior as per ALSTOMs V&V processes.
Execute tests, report defects, and support root-cause analysis.
Ensure adherence to safety-critical standards (CENELEC/DO-178B) and internal quality norms.
Work closely with development, architecture, and integration teams to ensure complete coverage.
Contribute to improving test frameworks, automation setups, and V&V practices.

Required Skills & Experience

5–10 years of experience in V&V, module testing, or integration testing.
Hands-on testing experience with
C++/ADA-based software
.
Practical experience with
VectorCAST or RTRT
test automation tools.
Strong understanding of
safety-critical standards
such as
CENELEC / DO-178B
(1st priority).
Exposure to
automotive safety standards
(ISO 26262) is a strong advantage (2nd priority).
Experience in structured engineering processes, test documentation, and defect management.
Ability to analyze, debug, and validate complex embedded systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields.
Experience in railway, aerospace, automotive, or other regulated safety-critical industries.
