Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Vendor Onboarding & Expansion: Identify and onboard emerging and established kidswear brands, manufacturers, and exporters pan-India. Build a strong vendor ecosystem ensuring diversified product offerings across baby, infant, toddler, and pre-teen categories. Driv end-to-end onboarding process including brand vetting, contract closure, and catalog integration. Sourcing & Negotiation: Negotiate competitive pricing, MOQs, payment terms, and lead times with vendors. Ensure adherence to product quality, design consistency, and margin guidelines. Category Planning: Own the kidswear assortment strategy across seasonal collections. Develop Open-to-Buy (OTB) plans in alignment with sales forecasts, inventory targets, and consumer trends. Operations & Merchandising: Work closely with the merchandising, QC, and catalog teams for timely listing and smooth execution of product uploads. Monitor vendor performance, manage replenishments, stock health, and liquidation strategies. Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with the marketing, operations, and technology teams to ensure product visibility and sales acceleration on the marketplace. Lead planning of promotional campaigns, catalog curation, and trend-based product range suggestions. Required Skills & Qualifications: 4+ years of relevant experience in sourcing, vendor management, and merchandising Strong vendor network across India in the kidswear category. Proven track record of vendor negotiation, buying, and onboarding in e-commerce. Strong analytical thinking, commercial acumen, and a trend-sensitive mindset. Excellentcommunication and relationship-building skills. Preferred Candidate Attributes: Previously worked with platforms like FirstCry, Hopscotch, Myntra, Ajio, etc. Experience working with both Indian and export vendors. Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and capable of independently driving vendor partnerships.
