Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Vendor Development Engineer with experience in machining components to handle sourcing, vendor evaluation, and development activities to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely supply.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors for machining components.
Source and negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and quality standards.
Coordinate vendor audits, capacity assessment, and technical capability checks.
Work with vendors on process improvements, cost reduction, and timely delivery.
Resolve quality and supply chain issues in coordination with internal teams.
Maintain vendor performance records and ensure compliance with company standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering.
2-3 years of experience in vendor development for machining components.
Strong knowledge of machining processes, tolerances, and quality requirements.
Good negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
Ability to travel for vendor visits and audits.
