Vendor Development Engineer

Role Overview: You will be joining as an Engineer - Vendor Development in the Vendor Development / Supply Chain Management (Mechanical) function at Matrix, located in Vadodara, Gujarat. Your primary responsibility will involve playing a crucial role in various stages of the vendor lifecycle, ranging from vendor identification and assessment to product development, manufacturing, and deployment. By developing strong vendor relationships, you will contribute to overcoming challenges and enhancing the quality of products used by numerous customers. Key Responsibilities: - Develop multiple vendors to acquire the required materials at competitive prices. - Receive and validate new part requests for a range of electronic components like resistors, capacitors, transistors, diodes, IC's, etc. - Demonstrate expertise in strategic sourcing and procurement of electronics components. - Independently source vendors, finalize agreements, and manage costing aspects. - Conduct vendor development, evaluation, finalization, and costing activities. - Engage in L1 negotiations and perform supplier assessments and visits. - Utilize excellent communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration.
