Vendor Development - Electrical

The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing vendors for electrical components, encompassing both domestic and international sourcing. Responsibilities include: - Developing electrical components required in BESS solutions such as Switchgears, DC Contactors, and Capacitors. - Strategic sourcing management for electrical commodities. - Negotiating with suppliers to achieve cost-effective service agreements. - Evaluating suppliers" core competencies and competitive positioning. - Implementing supplier agreements and contracts in collaboration with cross-functional teams. - Anticipating shifts in supplier negotiating power and industry trends. - Participating in short and long-term planning to support strategic business goals. - Establishing a supplier management program with key suppliers. - Developing and implementing sourcing strategies domestically and internationally. - Working closely with vendors to obtain accurate pricing, lead times, and availability. - Benchmarking vendors based on price and quality competitiveness. Key Skills: - Proficiency in electrical component sourcing from domestic and international markets. - Knowledge of material handling, packing, and freight cost management. - Cross-functional experience in Production Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance. - Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and collaborate with organizational stakeholders. - Proactive decision-making skills and flexibility. - Experience in product costing, incoterms, logistics, and taxation. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, or related field. Experience: - 8-10 years of experience in Vendor Development for Electrical components.
