Vehicle Design & Integration Engineer

Role Overview: As a Vehicle Design & Integration Engineer at Hero Motocorp, you will be responsible for visualizing and generating feasible design concepts in 3D/2D for 2-wheeler vehicle chassis systems. Your role will involve considering weight, cost, quality, and performance targets to deliver excellent vehicles to customers. You will work on layout studies of chassis systems, maintain tolerances stack, coordinate with vendors, support platform STL in report making, and resolve any problem resolution activities. Key Responsibilities: - Suggest VA/VE ideas to reduce product material cost - Layout and design chassis systems of all parts and finalize layouts - Engage in concept visualization and 3D/2D best practices - Evaluate vendors for technical and process capability - Prepare design manuals Qualifications Required: - BE/BTech in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering from a renowned institute - Knowledge of advance surfacing, 3D modeling, and 2D drawing in Catia V5/Any CAD tool - Good understanding of DFM/DFS/FMEA and GD&T - Knowledge of required manufacturing process in frame design - Component and subsystem level understanding - Understanding of project plans - Understanding of material selection - Ability to work independently on small design projects/problems - Ability to break larger tasks into smaller tasks and direct others in performing tasks - Ability to make project micro schedules Additional Details: Hero MotoCorp is the world's largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters for the last 22 years.
