• Develop, test, and maintain VBA macros and applications within Excel, Access, and other MS Office tools.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve workflow efficiency and reduce errors. • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing VBA code. •
Optimize existing VBA solutions to enhance performance. • Document development processes, code, and procedures clearly.
• Provide training and support to end-users on VBA-based tools and applications. • Stay updated on the latest VBA and MS Office trends and best practices.
Qualifications for excel VBA developer
• Proven experience in VBA programming and automation (typically 3+ years).
• Strong expertise in Excel VBA, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and charting. • Experience with MS Access VBA development is a plus.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and business users. • Familiarity with other programming or scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python) is a bonus.
