Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Driving and Navigation: Safely operate a van to transport items to designated locations, following assigned routes and schedules. Utilizing GPS or navigation apps to determine the best routes for efficient delivery. Loading and Unloading: Efficiently and safely load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling and preventing damage to goods. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers, addressing inquiries, and resolving any delivery-related issues. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate delivery logs, update delivery statuses in systems, and submit necessary paperwork such as invoices or receipts. Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring its safety and reporting any maintenance or repair needs. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations, ensuring a safe driving record and handling of goods. Route Optimization: Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency and ensure timely deliveries.
