As a Senior Product Designer (UXUI) at Qualys Inc., you will play a crucial role in enhancing user experience by designing interfaces and workflows that align with enterprise-level end users" mental models, technology requirements, and business goals. Your strong problem-solving skills, coupled with a deep understanding of user workflows, will enable you to create innovative and user-centric design solutions. By leveraging your expertise in design principles, typography, iconography, and UI aspects, you will contribute to driving customer delight and satisfaction across the Qualys product suite. Your Impact: In this role, you will serve as a proactive advocate for a delightful customer experience, inspiring product teams to think differently and design innovatively. Your solid UX expertise will span multiple product lines and cross-functional teams, ultimately influencing customer outcomes in operational, optimization, and opportunistic areas. Your innovative yet pragmatic design solutions will be instrumental in realizing Qualys" vision for the platform and ensuring that customers remain at the core of all design decisions. Your Portfolio: You should have a portfolio showcasing your UX design work for enterprise web products and mobile applications, including a demonstration of User-Centered Design (UCD) activities. Your portfolio should feature wireframes, wireflows with micro and macro interactions, highlighting your ability to translate design concepts into tangible solutions. Your Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in IT or design studio is required for this role. Internship experience will not be considered as work experience, emphasizing the need for seasoned professionals with a track record of delivering impactful design solutions. Your Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Interaction Design, User Experience Design, Human Factors, Industrial Design, or Business Design from a reputable institute is desired. Additionally, a portfolio demonstrating expertise in Cyber Security Enterprise product design will be considered an added advantage. As a Senior Product Designer with Qualys Inc., your responsibilities include: - Collaborating with product managers to define strategy and vision from a user perspective, emphasizing the importance of understanding the "why" behind design decisions. - Participating in product strategy and planning meetings to contribute your design expertise. - Conducting research, sketching, prototyping, and developing new design solutions that align with the product vision. - Translating requirements into user flows, mind maps, object model diagrams, and journey maps to inform the design process. - Creating macro and micro wireflows, wireframes, mockups, and functional specs documentation to guide engineering development. - Leveraging the Qualys Design System to maintain design consistency and contribute to its enhancement. - Applying dashboard design principles and data visualizations to create impactful user interfaces. - Presenting design decisions and new product features to stakeholders, supported by strong experience design principles. - Supporting qualitative and quantitative research activities, from planning to analysis, to derive actionable insights and recommendations. - Demonstrating excellent organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail while managing design timelines efficiently. - Advocating for customer needs and driving product quality to deliver the best user experience. - Having a passion for solving complex problems and presenting elegant design solutions. - Demonstrating logical and creative thinking, using data to inform design decisions, and upholding high-quality design standards. - Possessing strong articulation, presentation skills, and the ability to work in an iterative design process culture. - Welcoming feedback, showcasing self-motivation, prioritizing workload effectively, and meeting critical deadlines. - Building positive working relationships, showing flexibility in working across geographies, and maintaining a commitment to continuous learning.
