UX Designer

Job Description

1. User Research Strategy a. Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather insights. b. Synthesize research findings into actionable design strategies and personas. c. Leverage data analysis to inform user-centric design decisions. 2. Design Development a. Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI using tools like Figma and Framer. b. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, and marketing) to create and refine workflows. c. Maintain and enhance design systems for consistency across digital platforms. d. Design structuring allowing for a smooth developer handoff e. Build efficient responsive designs which can translate from Desktop \u2192 tablet \u2192 mobile 3. UX Improvement a. Analyze user engagement metrics and feedback to optimize existing products. b. Test and iterate designs to ensure they meet user needs effectively. 4. Collaboration and Facilitation a. Conduct design workshops to align stakeholders and gather ideas. b. Work closely with developers to ensure seamless design handoffs. c. Present designs and user stories clearly for diverse audiences (stakeholders / developers). Requirements 2+ years of experience designing dashboards and applications Experience covering interaction and visual design among others Expertise in Figma and other tools for designing and prototypes Capable of capturing and filtering feedback for best possible outcome Strong portfolio with examples of delivering outcomes Excellent communicator, with strong customer focus, driven with sense of empathy, ownership and urgency Nice to have Eager to work with new products (0 to 1) and improving existing products in a refining and iterative manner UX writing skills for creating good, clear copy Excellent collaboration skills with other functions Able to keep sight of the forest and the trees when solving problems balancing big picture and attention to detail is crucial Ability to work with front end engineers Willingness to learn new skills and share new skills with team members Hiring process for this role: Stage 1: Send us your resume Stage 2: Quick chat to learn about each other Stage 3: Take home task after the interview is scheduled this will need about 90min-120min Stage 4: Discuss the take home task and other things (120-180min) Stage 5: Decision
