Utility Manager

Role

• Ensuring smooth operations Utility Area Critical Assets Operation & Maintenance.
• Operation & Maintenance of - 66/11KV HT Substation, 11KV/415V LT substation, 3MVA HT DG sets, 2250KVA DRUPS System, HT/LT Main Panel, STP Plant, ON grid solar power plant, Pump room operations, WTP & RO plants, HVAC High side Water cooled & Air-Cooled chiller operations, Pumps operations, Fresh air & Exhaust system, Water Management. Bio-gas plant, HSD yard & fuel management. AV System Management, BMS/SCADA System.

Key Responsibilities:

Asset Management

• Ensure 100% uptime for critical utility asset
• Preparation of 52 Week PPM schedule & ensure timely PPM works
• Responsible for routine testing & managing logs
• Planning & Execution of annual furlough & shutdown maintenance
• Responsible for legal, statutory & CEIG inspection
• Responsible for legal, statutory & CEIG inspection
• Coordination & Execution of One-time site improvement projects

Vendor Management

• Coordination of PPM works & Service-related works
• Coordination of Site visit & Survey
• Coordination for material entry & Inventory management
• Responsible for Critical spare maintenance & stock availability
• Responsible for work execution and Issuing work permits
• Responsible for EHS, Safety, PPE & LOTO

Manpower Management and Training

• Promote a healthy and teamwork oriented atmosphere in site
• Prepare a manpower budget as per the growth in the operations
• Identify the training needs of his team and assist in the development of modules to address the same
• Ensure that site is at their optimum staff strength
• Ensure that all the HR processes and staff welfare activities are implemented and carried out in site

Communication and Client Retention

• Stay in close communication with the client for all issues regarding services, additional business, new initiatives and hygiene and prepare documents of the same
• Ensure that the branding policy is rolled out and followed as per the specifications
• Ensure 100% client retention
• Timely addressal of all issues with pertaining to the client and the operations

Cost Management

• Coordinate with the Purchase department to understand and forecast the cost trends and revisions
• Develop suitable operational strategies to address increase in costs
• Analyze the operational cost centers and provide solutions to increase the efficiencies in site

Legal Compliances

• Co-ordinate with the HR, SEQ and Legal departments to ensure that all the legal compliances are met with and a copy of the same is maintained at site
• Systems Implementation and Process Management
• Ensure that all the systems and processes are implemented and followed as per the company policy
• Responsible for following up on the effectiveness of each process and provide details on alterations to be made to the same

Environment Health & Safety and Quality (EHS & Q)

• Co-ordinate with the EHS & Q team to implement the policy and process
• Ensure that all incidents pertaining to EHS & Q are reported to the concerned teams on time
• Timely communication of all possible on site EHS & Q hazards to the concerned department

Energy Management

• Responsible for the tracking daily wise consumption tracker & submission of daily reports
• Responsible for maintenance all meters & relays and yearly calibration works
• Responsible for weekly energy tracker & Green energy accruals
• Responsible for Submission of Monthly Energy reports with dashboards
• Responsible for Site Improvement & Energy savings initiative
• Responsible for Water Management STP, WTP & RO Plants
• Responsible for BMS System operation & 100% System uptime
• Responsible for HVAC high side operations & 100% System uptime
• Responsible for optimising HVAC consumption & HVAC Energy saving initiatives
