Tax Professionals - US TAX (HNI/Private Client Focused)

Location: Mumbai / Hyderabad / Ahmedabad / Bangalore

Qualification: Commerce Graduate / EA / CA / CPA

Experience: 2 to 12 years working with Private Client Services (PCS), HNI and U.S. tax forms such as 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S

Roles & Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal leadership, and global stakeholders.
• Manage end-to-end tax engagements, including planning, execution, review, and timely delivery of tax projects within set timelines and budgets.
• Prepare and review U.S. tax returns (Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, and 1041) ensuring accuracy, compliance with tax laws, and identification of tax-saving opportunities.
• Research complex tax issues, consult on tax matters, and respond to IRS or tax authority inquiries when required.
• Lead brainstorming sessions to propose innovative tax solutions and process improvements.
• Mentor, guide, and train junior staff; review their work and provide constructive feedback.
• Manage and oversee teams (8+ members), conduct performance reviews, and support professional development.
• Handle planning, compliance, amendments, quarterly estimates, and review of supporting workpapers.
• Work collaboratively with U.S. teams using advanced technology and digital tools.
• Participate in tax planning for small and medium-sized U.S. businesses and high-net-worth individuals.

Key Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with PCS/HNI clients involving Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120S.
• Knowledge of individual and trust returns (Forms 1040 & 1041).
• Ability to manage and mentor teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
• Expertise in identifying tax issues and proposing strategic solutions.
• Working knowledge of BNA (preferred).
