Job Description

We are seeking an experienced US Compliance and Tax Accounting professional to join our team in Chennai.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax calculations, return reviews, and tax compliance.
This role will involve preparation of tax payment requests, tax workpapers, and account reconciliations.
The candidate will also be responsible for evaluating and assessing use tax and preparing indirect tax compliance for the location of Chennai.
Responsibilities Use tax calculations to ensure accurate tax compliance Review of returns to identify and address any discrepancies or errors
Preparation of tax payment requests to ensure timely payment of taxes Preparation of tax workpapers to support tax calculations and returns Account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records Evaluating and assessing use tax to identify areas for improvement Preparation of indirect tax compliance for the location of Chennai Staying up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance Requirements 5-10 years of experience in US Compliance and Tax Accounting Strong knowledge of tax calculations, return reviews, and tax compliance
Experience with tax payment requests, tax workpapers, and account reconciliations Ability to evaluate and assess use tax to identify areas for improvement Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
